Our Programs

Rookie (Ages 7-11)

At the rookie level we want to introduce young athletes and non-athletes alike to sports while building a strong foundation based upon performance fundamentals in a fun, positive and high success environment.  Not only do we want to help mold the rookie with the proper motor and fundamental skills required for specific sports but we also want to help build well rounded and responsible student athletes that understand the importance of school, work ethic and core values.  With foundations build upon these principles, we believe that the rookies will grow up to be more prepared for success in life and sports.

Junior Varsity (Ages 12-14)

 

After gaining the foundation in the rookie level, athletes at the junior varsity level will progress in sports by their coaches refining the previous fundamental skills and ingraining the speed, agility and power needed that will lead to permanent and positive change.  With this being such a critical period for young athletes, the lessons will become more focused.  This will be accomplished by speed work and strengthening programs.  Speed work will include intense sessions that build good habits with running forms including sprinting and agility work.  Strengthening programs will include core strength, energy system development, and flexibility.

Varsity (Ages 15-18)

As an athlete in the varsity program, it is time to fine tune all the skills previously learned and apply them directly to the sport.  This will include progressive sequences of drills and exercise that are sport specific.  This sequence will combine the science and application necessary for improved sport performances with today’s athlete including resistance and reactive training with maximum effort, power and strength.

Elite (Ages 18 & up)

 

Athletes at the elite level are those athletes who have completed their high school education or currently working to excel athletically in college, semi-pro, or at the pro level. Athletes at the elite level will continue to fine tune speed, agility, and power to be successful at the next level to be able to compete with other athletes at the same level. Elite athletes will enhance these skills through rigorous and advanced workouts provided by the coaches of NOST.
